Driving from Wadebridge via Sladesbridge
*As you drive out of Sladesbridge on the Bodmin road, take the turning right, up the steep lane (before the lay-by on the right). This lane is signposted for, ‘Wood Design’.
*Follow this lane until you reach a crossroad at the top of the hill. Go straight over the crossroad and keep following the lane, cresting the hill and then descending towards Polbrock.
*At the bottom of the hill follow the hairpin bend right, to lead you over Polbrock Bridge.
*Bear left after the bridge to follow the lane and eventually past, ‘Grogley Halt’ on the left.
*500m past Grogley Halt, take the slip road on your left where there is a sign for, ‘weak bridge’ (and you’ll know you’ve missed this turning if you find yourself at Ruthernbridge!)
*This turning left is a lane leading over a very small bridge.
*Go over the bridge and follow the road to the top of the steep hill and look for the first turning on the left where we will meet in the car park.

Driving from Wadebridge via Burlawn-
* Drive straight through Burlawn, past the telephone box on your left and down a very steep hill.

*Continue along lane, past Lower Burlawne farm on your left and Hay Studios on you right, downhill again until you reach a T-junction, where you take the turning right.
* Follow the this lane past, ‘Grogley Halt’ on the left.
*500m past Grogley Halt take the slip road on your left with weak bridge signs. You’ll know you’ve missed this turning if you find yourself at Ruthernbridge!)
* Continue over small bridge and follow the road to the top of the steep hill and look for the first turning on the left where we will meet in the car park.

Cycling from Wadebridge, on the Camel Trail (25mins)-
The most direct route to Cotton Wood is along the Camel Trail. It’s all flat! Travelling from either Wadebridge or Bodmin direction come off at Grogley Halt.
* Take a left onto the road. Proceed roughly 500m until you come to a turning to your left. If you miss this turn you will end up in Ruthernbridge. Take this slip road down and over a small bridge with green railings.
*Go over this bridge and follow the road to the top of the steep hill and look for the first turning on the left where we will meet in the car park.

From Nanstallon (School)-
*With the entrance to the school on your left drive over crossroads and continue down the hill, through the village until you come to a fork in the road at the bottom of the village. Take the middle option with weak bridge 3 tonne limit warning sign.
*Follow this road for 1.5km rising up into a wooded area,  past two properties on the right hand side, the second of which is signed, ‘Oak Lodge’.
*Look for signs to turn right into a car park 150m further on. If you start descending down 20% hill you have gone too far!
