Directions from A30 for Cotton Wood Lodge or MTB events

Travelling by car Leave A30 onto the A389 signposted for Lanivet & Wadebridge. Continue on through Lanivet, (nb. Lanivet stores on your right as you pass through is a good option for last minute food supplies). After approximately 1km turn left towards the small village of Nanstallon. Continue through Nanstallon, straight over crossroads (school on left) until you come to a fork in the road at the bottom of the village. Take the middle option with weak bridge 3 tonne limit warning sign. Follow this road for 1.5km rising up into a wooded area. Pass two properties on the right hand side, the second of which is signed “Oak Lodge”. Next-

*For X fusion Enduro1 event start and SW XC Series Rd2 and Wild Camping area, take the second entrance on the right after this sign. The entrance will be marked for the event.

*For Cotton Wood Lodge Hideaway continue and head down the 20% steep hill, to the gate entrance, marked, ‘Cottonwood Private’ on the right at bottom of the hill. Park just inside the gate entrance and then follow the signs to the Lodge.

 

If cycling to Cotton Wood, either from Wadebridge or Bodmin, come off the Camel Trail at Grogley Halt. Cross the bridge over the Camel, turn left onto the road. Continue for 400m and take slip road on left. Cross over the small bridge and-

*For X fusion Enduro1 event start and SW XC Series Rd2 and Wild Camping area, continue up the steep hill. The entrance will be marked on the left at the top of the hill.

*For Cotton Wood Lodge Hideaway, do not head up the steep hill, instead enter the gate in front of you, marked ‘Cottonwood Private’. Enter the gate and follow the signs to the Lodge.

For X fusion Enduro1 and SW XC Series Rd2 events: We ask that you lift share if possible. whilst there is plenty of space for camping there is a limitation on parking spaces.
