Cotton Wood welcomes the South West MTB XC Series Round 2!

Want to make a weekend of it? Camp for £6 per person per night at Cotton Wood, a mountain bike friendly woodland retreat adjacent to Grogley, with its very own 3.5km XC loop. Make Saturday 6th practice day and then on Sunday……Wake up, grab your bike and race!

CAMPING AT COTTON WOOD
Come prepared and wild camp at Cotton Wood, right next to the Camel Trail,  Grogley Downs, Hustyns and Bishops Wood! Why not make a weekend of it?
We charge only 6 per person per night, & free for children under the age of five- families most welcome! Pay for one, two, or three nights via our Paypal button below or contact us via our email enquiry form or phone 01208 815364 to pay via Bacs.

Facilities at Cotton Wood
The facilities are limited to toilets, fire pit and BBQ areas and fresh water. No showers, but we’re right next to the river, so feel free to take a plunge, pre or post ride!
There is limited space for parking, so we kindly ask that you lift share where possible. Booking is based on afirst come, first served basisand is non-refundable. VW transporter/type 2 campervans/transit van size are fine, but we suggest no bigger please!

WHAT’S ON WHEN NOT RACING-
The Camel Trail-join the Trail at Grogley Halt, a two minute cycle from Cotton Wood. See ourCamel Trailpage for more information. The Camel Trail is 18 miles of flat trail which can take you to Padstow (9miles) via Wadebridge (3miles) following the river Camel until it meets the coast, or the other way towards Bodmin Moor.
